How do I close my GigaTrade account?

To request account closure, email support@gigatrade.io from the email address registered to your account. Please state that you would like to close your account. Our support team will verify your identity and guide you through any remaining steps.

Before your account can be closed, you must:

1. Cancel all pending orders and scheduled or recurring transactions.
2. Liquidate or transfer all open positions and withdraw or transfer any remaining cash balance.
3. Pay any outstanding platform, market data, transfer, or cashiering fees.
4. Resolve any active disputes or other outstanding account matters.

Accounts with open positions, unsettled transactions, remaining balances, or unresolved obligations cannot be closed.

What happens after I request closure?

Once we confirm that your account has no open positions, remaining balances, pending transactions, outstanding fees, or active disputes, our support team will process the closure. Account closure is generally completed within one to three business days, although pending transfers or unsettled transactions may delay completion.

Is account closure reversible?

You may reopen your GigaTrade Account at any time. Re-verification of identity will need to take place.

What happens to my information?

After your account is closed, GigaTrade and its service providers will retain certain account, identity, communication, and transaction records as required by applicable laws, regulations, and recordkeeping obligations. These records cannot be deleted upon request during the required retention period.

Are there fees to close my account?

GigaTrade does not charge a separate account-closure fee. However, fees may apply to outgoing wires, ACH transactions, ACATS transfers, or other methods used to remove assets from your account. Any outstanding platform, market data, transfer, or cashiering fees must also be paid before closure.
