What is MACD?

 The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is a trend-following momentum indicator that compares two moving averages. 

MACD consists of:

  • MACD Line
  • Signal Line
  • Histogram

Traders often use MACD crossovers and momentum shifts to identify potential trend changes.
