Working with widgets

 All widgets in GigaTrader can be freely moved around the workspace, resized, duplicated, and linked to each other. Here are general guidelines on how to work with widgets

-To open a widget, click on its name in one of the drop-down lists or drag and drop it into place. You can open multiple widgets inside the same workspace and use drag&drop to move them around. To open a widget in a new browser window, click the Detach button .

-To close a widget, click the X in its top-right corner.

-To move a widget, drag the widget's title to the desired location. The position where the widget will be placed is indicated by a dashed line while you drag the title, and it is set once you release it.

-You can also add widgets inside an already existing widget in the form of tabs. To do so, drag its header to the header of the widget you want to place it with.

-Two or more widgets in a workspace can be linked to work with the same instrument and data. This can be done to the specified widgets or to all widgets on a workspace.

To do so:

1. Click the Link widget  for the first widget you want to link and select a color from the drop-down list (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, or Pink).
2. Then, click the Link widget for the second widget and select the same color as for the first widget.
